Finally snow

We finally got snow and it was January. Jason stayed home because of all the snow. So we got the kids dressed in snow pants and coats gloves and hats. We made our way out to the yard and poor Hailey kept falling down since the snow was so deep it was hard for her to walk in.

We had fun the only down fall is when we came back inside poor Hailey's hands were cold and she didn't like how it felt when they warmed up. It was really fun to finally play in the snow.

Blanket for the new baby

Jason was out of town for the weekend. So I wanted a project to do while he was gone. So I tackled making a baby blanket. It took me a couple of days. But it is done. I like it and it is so soft.

So this weekend we started the change from a crib to a bed. She struggled the first night partially because she was so excited and so was Zoe. So we ended up putting her back into the crib. Thursday I put her down for a nap and she got up once and turned on the light. So after a little longer she fell asleep. So this picture is the first time Hailey fell asleep in her bed. So likes to have her kitty sleep with her.

Toy Helicopter

Jason got a toy Helicopter for Christmas. The kids ask dad everyday as soon as he walks through the door to fly it. The only thing is the kids are scared of it. They run away from it. But they think it is neat.

Hailey Christmas 2011

Hailey woke up later than the other two kids.
So the other kids watched her open her presents.
With Christmas money from Grandparents we got her this toy. It lights up and you can draw on it.
She got a cow pillow and books from Aunt Amy and Uncle Josh. She got a puzzle from Grandma Dye all the kids got one from her. She got a jack in the box which had curious george in it.

We got Hailey a little car that she can sit on and move around the house. The only down fall the older kids try to ride it and there are to big.

Hailey before she opened present. We had gone to a friends house for Christmas Eve Hailey found Vaseline and put it in her hair. You can't tell from the picture but her hair is stuck to her head and we are still trying to get it out. It is getting better.
Overall we had a good Christmas and spent time together.

Zoe's Christmas 2011

The kids have been really excited about the idea of Santa this year they couldn't wait. Zoe made sure that there was a cookie left out for Santa. When they woke up they didn't really seem to understand yes today is Christmas and you get to open the presents.
Zoe's theme for Presents for the most part was horses. She also did get a horse pillow.
She also got some books from Aunt Amy and Uncle Josh
We found this cute barn but we had already gotten the kids Christmas. My parents sent some Christmas money so we were able to get it for her.

We had the opportunity to go down on Christmas Eve and ride the miniature train. A couple in our ward had rented it out for two hours so the kids got to ride as much as they wanted for two hours the only down side it was cold.

POPCORN

We got a popcorn popper and the kids get so excited to just watch the popcorn pop. Also there is a tower on the counter that Kaleb built.

Race cars and Ramps

So Jason yesterday put new batteries in the remote control car and made a ramp for the car to jump. Kaleb loved it. The only trick was getting it to hit the ramp just right.

This time it hit just right and off it went.

Hailey got a hold of the controller as Kaleb is bringing the car back for another run.

This time the car went a little to far to the one side and just got stuck.

Thanksgiving weekend

So on Friday Jason and I went and did some Christmas shopping. When we got back we loaded everyone up and went to the park. We didn't stay long since it was cold and the wind started to pick up.

Thanksgiving continues

So on Thanksgiving we did several things. Grandma Played put the rice socks into a container. Hailey really had fun doing that.

Kaleb and Zoe played with the checkers. They still don't quite have the patience to put one in at a time and take turns.

Jason was awesome and washed dishes after we actually ate thanksgiving dinner. Which I appreciated a lot.

The pictures are little out of order. Here is Zoe helping dad put the turkey in. She kept putting her flower right in front of her face.

Grandma played Monopoly with Kaleb. They are sitting so close since Grandma has a hard time seeing the little words on the screen. So Kaleb wanted to sit up next to her.

Thanksgiving 2011

So this year we were blessed to have Jason's mom come and visit us during Thanksgiving. We put up the Christmas tree before she got here but we waited to decorate it until she was here.

The only challenge this year is getting Hailey to leave the ornaments on the tree. Every time we turn our backs for a second she has one and is running down the hall to hide it somewhere.

Snow and Lights

So last Saturday Jason wanted to put up the Christmas lights. The kids wanted to play in the little bit of snow that we had. So here is a pictures of Jason working on putting up the lights.

Also this weekend we were able to trade in the durango and get a Yukon. The Yukon turns out to be 6 inches wider so that will help out when there are 4 car seats to fit into the car.

So a couple of days after Jason's birthday we finally got our first snow of the year. It was the middle of November. The kids were excited they asked if they could make a snowman now. Which we didn't get enough snow for that and it melted.

Well Jason turned 30 in November. So for his birthday we went out on Saturday for a date and we out to dinner and he wanted sushi. After that we went to a couple stores and looked at ideas for Christmas for the kids. We went to Dairy Queen and got some ice cream.
On his actual birthday Zoe helped me make a cheesecake. She was excited for dad to come home and see it also so she could eat some.

So at the end of October we had an ultrasound and found out we are having a baby boy in March the downside is my computer isn't working with me so I can put the pictures on the computer. As soon as I figure it out I will put them up.

So we went to friends home and they gave kids bubbles on Halloween. So we went outside for a minute to try to blow some.

We had more pumpkins so Halloween we colored and put stickers on them. Zoe had a hard time getting the markets to color on the pumpkin and the stickers but they had fun.

So the day before Halloween we got our pumpkins carved. Well at least two of the six pumpkins that we grew. Jason was awesome about getting them all ready. He asked Zoe what she wanted she wanted a happy face. He asked Kaleb and he wanted a mean or scary face. So for some reason I didn't get a picture of the happy one but I did the other one.

Jason carving it out. Also on the counter there is a container with a red lid. We had 6 to 8 lady bugs living in it for about a week and a half until the leaf we put in it started to go moldy but Zoe loved the things until the end.

Halloween 2011

Our cute kids all dressed up for the trunk or treat at the church. When we picked out the outfits Kaleb wanted the swat one because it had all sorts on pockets and things in them. Zoe for the passed two years has been a witch and she wanted to continue to be a witch. When we first got it for her she said she was an evil witch but by Halloween she said she was a good witch. Hailey we picked her cheerleader outfit because it would fit her also it had long sleeves.

So after 2 or so hours Jason had the bed up and we moved some furniture around in the kids rooms. This is what this room ended up looking like.

The book case moved and we moved a different dresser into the room.

I put the books into the closet where some blankets used to live.

The toy box was moved into the closet.
The bunk bed all finished and the crib right next to it. So the crib will stay there until the new baby we are going to have is big enough to sleep in a real bed.

So our little boy isn't so little. He turned five this week. It's crazy to think that we have a 5 year old boy. So we made a brownie cake for him. Since he won't eat cake. We didn't celebrate until dad got home. We opened up his presents. He got some jammies and some fun things from Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Ed the day before. We opened up his cars Lego's that we had gotten him. Dad helped put them together. Then we went to McDonald's for dinner so Kaleb could have french fries. We came home and had his brownie cake. He didn't want to eat the frosting.

I know this might sound funny. But because Hailey is a healthy girl she just doesn't fit in jean. But I finally got some that fit. The button didn't stay closed but I got them on her. So these pictures are the first ones that I have of Hailey wearing jeans.

So we are trying to do somewhat school for the kids to learn things. We have a deal with Kaleb that if he participates then he can play games on the computer. Zoe ends up either drawing, cutting paper or this day she played with clay.

So by our house is a huge sand pile the kids love to play in it. So I took pictures really fast before they noticed I was taking them. They really do like to play in the sand so we have to watch them when they come in half the time there is sand in their shoes.

I realize most of the pictures are of Hailey but she seems to hold still longer than the other two. So we had a family in our ward that offered to give us their old swing set. So now the kids all have their own swing and don't have to fight over the one that we already had. But they still do fight over which one they want oh well.

The other day Hailey discovered I had taken everything out of this drawer so she assumed that it was for her so she crawled in. This is something she likes to do lately crawl into things or climb up things.

Another pass time that Hailey likes is this little toy car she sits on she gets mad if the older kids take it away. Even though they both are to big for it.

When Daddy got home from work we got ready for cake. Zoe picked out her cake she picked strawberry and pink frosting. Can you tell that she likes pink.

Zoe's Birthday almost all week long

Our little girl Zoe turned 3 years old. I can't believe it. She is growing up so fast. She has been looking forward to her birthday since I told her that it was after Hailey's which was over 2 months ago. So the day finally came and we told her happy birthday just that made her so excited. We did get her some gifts but we ordered them online a little to late so they are coming later on this week. Daddy was so nice he came home and brought her flowers so fake ones and 3 paint by #'s. She was so excited daddy knows his little girl so well.

We got a package from Great Grandparents Anderson's. It was some sticker books and a coloring book to share with Kaleb.

So the weather lately has been a little nicer. So we have all gone outside and the kids have played in the sand and Kaleb on his bike.

The Big Race

So we made it to the Derby and our car was a little light so we glued some nails to the top to get it the right weight.

I know this picture is blurry but our car came in first.

Our car came in first twice I think that is pretty good. Since we didn't know what we were doing. The kids had fun. Kaleb likes his new car to play with.

Well this year for our ward because there isn't a lot of kids the pinewood derby age they said anyone could make a car and race it. So we decided to do so a couple days before the race. We tried Monday to buy one but they were closed. I went on Tuesday and they were out but they were getting more in the afternoon so we went back and we got one. Started on it Tuesday night and finished Wednesday and the kids painted it.

So lately the older kids like to hike up the hill behind our house. Kaleb thinks we will find deer if we follow the deer droppings on the hill.This picture is where we made it the first time going up.

So our little Hailey is One years old. It seems like we just brought her home but we can't imagine life without her. She is very active checking everything out. She is furniture surfing. She is getting braver. She seems to like to walk on her knees. Which I think would hurt. She is very vocal. I think she likes to hear herself make noises. So for her birthday we made cupcakes.

Our little girl turned 1 years old this month. Times does fly it seems like we just brought her home. But we couldn't imagine life without her. She is so active and vocal and her little smile just melts your heart. She is getting closer to walking. Yesterday she made attempts to come towards me and did one step all by herself before she grabbed for me.

I am a little late getting this pictures up. I wanted to get them up before she is a year old. She is crawling like crazy and she is standing up next to things and furniture surfing. trip to San Diego

We were able to have Jason's mom watch the kids and Jason and I got to go to San Diego for his annual meeting for Carmedic. It was fun we got there Thursday and we got to go out and eat at a Chinese restaurant with Jason's uncle and with another guy in Carmedic. Friday Jason had meetings and then they had the guys do competitions and that was fun to watch. After that got done we got to go down by the beach and got some souvenirs and walked out on a pier. Then we went to the historic San Diego and had Mexican food and walked over to do a tour at the Mormon Battalion building it was pretty neat and fun. Saturday there was more meetings. They let them out early but they had to come back for the group picture then another break and Jason went to a workshop dealing with tools of the trade. Then when he got back we hung out for a little and got ready for the dinner. We got to have dinner on a boat it was pretty neat. It was nice to have a little break from the kids but it is nice to see them I missed them.

They had several of these at the hotel for the ducks to swim in and there was coy and some goldfish swimming around.

One kind of duck with really neat colors that was there.

They also had parrots that they would bring out when it was warmer like 60 or so. So we got to see them out a couple times when we were there.

Hailey very excited about her toy.

Hailey has turned the big 10 months old. It is crazy how fast it seems that she is growing. She is crawling like there is no tomorrow and she has 7 teeth and the eighth is still trying to decide if it wants to poke through. She is a happy baby. She loves to crawl around and follow big brother and sister around the house. She gets quite mad when they leave her in a room and they move to a different place in the house. She like to stand up. She hasn't figured it out yet herself but if you help her stand up, to her that is the greatest thing in the world. When her legs give out she is quite sad. When she gets excited about anything her little arms and legs don't quit moving. She also likes to some what growl when she eats. She likes to make noises with her mouth and do the cute baby talk. The older kids will ask me what she said and I repeat the noises and they say oh okay. Like it makes more sense when mom does it. Zoe is very protective of Hailey around other people. She likes to let them know that Hailey is her baby sister.

So we were able to go to our 4 ward trunk or treat. So I took pictures of the kids before we left. These are my favorites.

Hailey 8 months old

Well our little baby isn't that little anymore she is 8 months old and she is so cute. She is able to scoot herself backwards when on her tummy and she is able to turn herself around when sitting up also somehow she is able to move while sitting up. She is eating some pureed foods and she seems to like them. She is very interesting in everything around her and she loves to giggle at Kaleb.

I think this picture is so cute and show personality and she is showing off all four teeth that she has.

This is a picture I took on Sunday trying to get all three kids together. Zoe didn't want to play. Kaleb and Hailey look cute. Kaleb is wearing his new church clothes that he got from Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Ed. He looks so grown up in them.

We were able to celebrate Kaleb's birthday when Jason got home from work. It was a little late and when we got done it was time to put the kids to bed.

Our little boy turned 4 years old last week. Dad let him play with his birthday present early. We opened it up on Sunday and he was so excited.

Our new place had some ( I use the word loosely) bees under a shed in the back. So we called a guy in our ward that does bees as a hobby. He came out on Saturday. We kept the kids inside and Jason and I got to learn about bees. We took pictures so that we could show the kids later.

This picture has the queen bee in it. She is the bigger bee than the rest. When moving a hive it is better to find the queen so it was exciting to actually find her. Also he said the queen bee was young so that is good.

This is new honey comb that they recently made.
Here is just some of the honey comb that was taken out. He said that in a normal colony that it is I think he said 6,000 or more I am not sure. But a lot. So we are glad that we called him.

The peanut looking thing on the side is a queen cell and there was another one on it. So that was neat to see.

This is Leif pulling out the first bit of honey comb. So it was an interesting experiance to watch them dig out and see all the bees. Jason and I both got to taste fresh honey. It was really good. So ends the adventure of the bees in the back yard. The ones that are left should go away in a week or so. We just hope that the bees stay at their new home. Because bees can travel 4 miles and it wasn't quite that. But I don't think they will come back. The End.

Well I know that this is a lot of pictures but I just want friends and family to be able to get an idea of what our new place looks like. Especially for those that aren't so close.

Okay so long time coming we found a place after a long search. It was in our ward and the price was good and it's further out of town.

Jason was going to go down to a friends wedding but it just ended up not happening. Jason had bought fruit to take down to his mom. So we decided to be adventurous and make apple sauce. The kids had fun peeling the apples. After all the hard work. Jason was able to get 5 quart jars to seal and the kids like it so that is good. So here are some pictures of the kids helping.

Our little baby is 7 months old. She is able to sit up for the most part by herself. She is scooting herself backwards and she hasn't quite figured out what she is doing to go backwards. She has two teeth and I think she is working on her 3rd. She is normally quite happy. Kaleb is really good at getting Hailey to giggle. She is definitely attached to her mom. She is eating cereal and a couple vegetables. She amazes me.

Our poor little baby girl last week she had a fever for several days and then she woke up on Sunday and there was a little bit of a rash by the time we got home from church it was more noticeable. The Monday it was the worst we took her to the walk in clinic it was on Labor day and so the doctor's office was closed. It is something that little kids get. I looked it up and it is something 6month old to 2 years can get it and then 4 year old's don't really get it. I can't remember what it is called. But it has cleared up and she is doing somewhat better. She is still not to happy but I think she is getting more teeth no rest for the little one.

Zoe is talking more and more. Instead of saying 1,2,3 she likes to say 1,2,9 which is cute then I will say 1,2,9, and she will say no mom it is 1,2,3.

She is growing by leeps and bounds for her doctor's appointment she was 23 pounds and 12 ounces. She was 27 inches and little. She is in the 95th percentile for a 9 month old at 6 months.

Jason took the kids to the park and I got to go with my mom and grandma and have a girls day. Which was really nice of him.

My parents several months ago got chicks and now they are chickens. My kids had fun chasing them. Zoe really had fun chasing them. So here are some pictures of the chase of the chickens.

We were able to go fishing with Grandpa Ed and Uncle Mat. We went up to Payson Lake. We had a good fishing day we all caught a fish and both of the kids helped reel in a couple of fish.

When he got it in the kids aren't quite sure what to think of the fish in front of them.

Kaleb holding a fishing pole he got to for a little bit until the line kept getting tangled but we all had fun and it was exciting because this was the first time the kids went fishing and we caught a good amount of fish so it was a productive trip. Thank you to Grandpa Ed and Uncle Mat for going and letting us use their poles and bait and everything. We had a really good time.

Well we were able to go down and visit with my family and Jason's. So I going to post some pictures this is like the 3rd attempt to do so. The first couple of times the pictures wouldn't upload. So we were able to go and visit my grandpa Don's cabin and ride on four wheelers and see all the pretty mountains and trees and saw a little bit of a deer and saw tracks of them when we went on a drive on the four wheelers. The kids had fun doing that. We also went down the zip line. The kids didn't want to stop. So here are some pictures of Jason going down that my dad was able to take.

Well our little girl has been watching us with such interest lately when we eat. When we went to the temple Jason couldn't take her stares so he gave her a little piece of bread. So when we got back home we got her some rice cereal and she really seemed to enjoy it and she liked it last night to. So our little one is eating something other than milk. So we will see how she does. The pictures are from the first time she ate.

Saturday we were able to drive over to Bellevue and I was able to do a session in the temple and Jason kept the kids busy. Then we went over to this kids play place. It took us a little bit to find it. It was okay the kids had fun but about half of the activity things were not working quite right but the kids didn't know any different. So here are some pictures of the kids playing.

Lake Wenatchee

We were able to go to Lake Wenatchee 2 weeks ago. It was really pretty. We were able to drive around and we drove up to a look out point and I fed Hailey. Jason took the kids and they explored. They weren't gone to long there was mosquito's and they were hungry.

Well that ends our quick trip to Lake Wenatchee. On the way home we got a flat tire. We were lucky where we stopped was a house and the guy there was really nice and helped us get the tire off and switch to our spare. We made it home without any more troubles.

Well our little baby is 5 months old. Well she isn't that little any more. Also a day after she was 5 months old she got her first tooth and now she has two teeth in her little mouth.

I like this picture she has such a cute little smile.

I was looking at older issues of The Friend and I found this idea of having boat races. Because they are older issues they don't normally have the pictures. So I found a picture of a boat on the Internet and printed them cut them out punched a hole in them and put the yarn through and put them in between two chairs and the kids could move them back and forth they had a blast.

well it has been a little warmer so I got the kids dressed in swimming suits. I put the sprinkler out and nothing they wouldn't really play in it. So I moved the slide over so you could slide down into the sprinkler that worked for a little while.

Jason came home from work on Friday and he put up the tent. The kids had fun they were excited and ran in and out and ran around. Jason tried sleeping in the tent with the kids it didn't go well. Zoe refused and I guess around 3 in the morning one of the neighbors were leaving their house and so it woke them up. Oh well it was still fun. Jason even made a fire in our little fire pit .

Well our little Hailey isn't so little any more. She is 4 months old. We took her to the doctor Monday and she is 19 pounds 12 ounces and 26 inches long. So she is good sized. Also the same day she turned 4 months grandma Dye sent some cute little summer dresses for the girls so some of the pictures have the girls in them.

Well on Saturday we had the opportunity of going on a hike with some friends. It was a really nice day and we had heard that the hike was easy and kids shouldn't have any trouble doing it. So we thought okay lets go. We went over to our friends house and we headed over to Silver Falls. On the way up I guess there was a bike race of sorts so we passed a fair amount of bikers. We got up there and we saddled up Hailey in this awesome baby backpack that Rustin let us borrow and Jason got her on his back and we headed up the stairs. It ended up being quite a hike up many stairs. Halfway up Zoe was done and Rustin was really nice and he packed Zoe on his shoulders she actually ended up sitting more or less on his backpack. But we made it up and back the kids fell asleep in the car on the way down and it was nice just a little warm but when we were by the falls it felt really nice.

Jason, Zoe, Kaleb, and Hailey by the waterfall. It was an awesome hike. But we did find out that one side was definitely a lot easier to do than the other. The one side went up fast and tons of stairs and the other more of a gradual climb and some stairs oh well live and learn. I do think it would be fun to attempt it again.

Kaleb was helping dad out in the garden and we found a worm and showed him he thought it was awesome and dad found and even bigger one. I ended up coming inside to feed Hailey and then Kaleb came inside to show me his new friend.

Memorial weekend on Saturday we went for a drive and went up to Beehive and walked around the lake. The kids had fun seeing the people fishing and throwing rocks into the lake. Kaleb would pack several around and then we would tell him when it was okay to throw some in. Normally when we were a ways from anyone fishing. They had fun and it was a nice day which was nice to have.

On Saturday for mother's day Jason took me and the kids to Northbend and got me some new clothes for mother's day and I had to feed Hailey before we headed home. So Jason wondered around with the kids for a little bit. When they came to the car Zoe was wearing these glasses and she is inseparable from the now and has to know where they are at all times. Kaleb and Jason both got a pair of glasses but Zoe is the one that is the most interested in them.

Hailey likes to feel the softness of blankets by her face. So one day I put one blanket on her and one around her head it worked for a minute. So I decided to take a picture so looked so cute.

Wow, two years have gone fast. Our little girl isn't really little anymore. We celebrated her birthday and we had some friends over to celebrate it. The kids had fun with the other kids and they had fun with the cake and presents. I will hopefully get to post some more pictures later. But Hailey is demanding my attention so we will see.

While Grandma Dye was visiting here she worked on some crocheting. Zoe was interested in trying to do some also so I took some pictures except Zoe decided to hide.

Well a whole month has gone by since Hailey was born. Time flies sometimes. So today I took pictures of the kids and wanted to post them so here they are.

Our New Addition

We have added to our family in February. We had a beautiful baby girl. We have named her Hailey Ann. She weighted 8 pounds and 10 ounces and 21 inches long. My water broke on the day that I was supposed to be induced. Hailey was born a little over two hours after my water broke. So she definitely was ready to come.
