Kaleb's second birthday

Kaleb woke up and came down stairs and found his new toy that we got him for his birthday. He had a good time playing with it. Then we opened up the presents from Grandma Dye and Great grandma and grandpa Anderson. But none of the pictures really turned out. Kaleb kept moving and he got upset when we tried to hold him still.













Then began the cleaning and making the cake. The first cake I made it cooked funny so I made a second one and when it finally cooled I frosted it with about a half and hour before the party started. I tried writing on the cake by putting some in a Ziploc bag and cutting a hole in the bag. But it didn't work as well as I had hoped. But it isn't to bad. Plus that Kaleb was the main person that saw it and he doesn't really care.







Then when the party started we made little crowns for the kids then we played. It then was time for the cake Jason helped Kaleb blow out his candle. Also one of the little kids there also wanted to help. Which isn't really a big surprise. Especially because they are little kids.











Here Kaleb is opening up a present. Kaleb is sitting next to my visiting teaching companion. She has also been deemed Kaleb's adoptive grandma.













The little kid in this picture has been excited about this party since we gave him the invitation. He even yelled out Kaleb's name in church last Sunday after we gave him the invitation. Jason also went over and pulled a dent out of their truck and the little kid kept talking about coming to the party. Also he was telling Jason what he had gotten for Jason's friend. He was trying to say his friend. When he got here for the party and almost through the door. He started opening the present to show Kaleb. But we told him he needed to wait and let Kaleb open it. But when it was time to open the present . He helped Kaleb open it. Which is just fine. Little kids are so cute and they get so excited about things.
