The Surprise
Well late Friday afternoon evening Jason said he had an idea. So I bite and ask what about. He said why not go for a quick trip and switch his brother. So then he would have our truck and we would have his old van. So then maybe he might have better luck saling it. So Jason's brother was the only one who knew about the whole thing. So then we got packed and drove all night to Burley. So then we went to Jason's grandparents house. Jason's grandpa heard us pull up and let us in. So then they took Kaleb back and threw him in bed with grandma. She wasn't awake yet. But when she did wake up she did know who Kaleb was so she was excited. So then Jason went to his brother's house and fixed the van. Then we had lunch at the grandparents house. Then we went down to my parent's house to finish off the surprise. We pulled up and my dad saw us because he was outside so was my older brother. But my mom and my grandma were inside and had no idea we were coming. So then Jason put Kaleb inside the front door and when he looked up at my mom she screamed. She was very surprise and excited to see us and the kids. Then we stayed there until Monday afternoon and then we went and picked Jason's mom up from the airport. Then we drove to Pocatello. But on the way we had some car troubles. But we made it there after making a quick stop in Logan. Where we bought a battery and headed out. Then all of Tuesday Jason worked on fixing the car and finally. We thought we had it figured out and no we didn't. So then we tried to go to Burley to get a part but we were only able to go about 10 minutes and then stop and push on a contection and then we could go again. But we found out they didn't have the part but Pocatello did so then we turned around and went about 10 minutes and stopped and do so until we made it there. We then went back to Jason's mom's house where we had left about 40 minutes earlier. But we go to visit a little more with Jason's grandma. She had come up to can some tomatoes. So Jason fixed the van for the last time. But then we had to take some parts back and so we went to Burley took one back then went to Twin Falls to take another part back. So we decided that we were just a stones throw away from the Twin Falls temple so we turned around and drove passed. But while we did a socket was nocked loose. Kaleb had been helping dad and had put a socket in the grill of the van. It didn't hurt anything but we picked it up and headed home. Jason drove quite a ways and I took a nap in the back and then we switched for a little while. But we made it home safe and sound. At 2:30 in the morning. So needless to say we are still trying to catch up on sleep. But here are some of the high lights from the quick trip to Idaho and Utah. But we had fun and are grateful to have seen our families and spent time with them even if they weren't expecting it.

Sounds like a crazy trip. I can't do spur of the moment very well anymore. I'm too forgetful. For our trip to AZ, I had Makua packed for 2 days and I still forgot a couple things. :P
